Fear not...there is Hope

My soul is overwhelmingly burdened by the escalated killings in our country.  I must speak....

Hate has been with us since the beginning of time.  Hate will never go away and will only increase.
Love has been with us since the beginning of time.  Unfortunately, there will be a waning of love. (Matthew 24:12)  Why?  Because we live in a fallen world.
The Bible tells us that the devil goes to and fro like a roaring lion, looking for whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)  He is certainly doing that through instilling hatred into the hearts of mankind.

The Bible also tells us that there will be wars and rumors of war. (Matthew 24:6)   We are seeing this increase all over the world.  And, now, moving rapidly into our own country, the United States of America.  Sadly, this is our new normal.

BUT... there is hope.  Yes, hope!  That hope is through Jesus Christ.  He is our ONLY hope.  Death will come.  It is inevitable.  We cannot stop the hatred that is ramping up in our world.  It WILL get worse.  Though, we must all contribute to the combating of this hatred with love.  Love conquers all.  But, our only hope for survival in this world, and for our eternity, is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-10,13)  Knowing Christ as our Savior gives us a peace beyond our understanding. (Philippians 4:7)   We can live our lives not in fear, but with confidence.  This world is becoming a frightening place to exist.  We're afraid to even step outside for fear of being killed.  But, as apostle Paul tells us in scripture, "To live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21)  Meaning:  in the living, Christ has me; in death - I will live for eternity with Jesus, in peace, on the streets of gold, and in a mansion He has built just for me! What peace!  What security!  Death will come - it's unavoidable.  But, you can live your life in confidence and without fear through a relationship with Jesus.  He is the only way. (John 14:6)

John 14:1-3, Jesus tells us, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

TRUST in Jesus and fear no more.

All my love,

Spruce
