The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of "truth" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior (Eph. 2:8-9) (Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:9-10 & 13) (John 3:16), we have the Holy Spirit living in us. He is the Spirit of truth.  One part of this means that... we can know what "truth" is.  There is only ONE truth -- God's truth.  Outside of knowing God... we cannot know truth!  And in order to know God, we must know Jesus. (John 14:6)   >>> (John 14:16-17) - words of Jesus ... "...And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Counselor (Holy Spirit) to be with you forever -- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. Combat Evil

Evil and wants to propagate evil.  It doesn't know anything else, nor want anything else.     So if you want to counter evil, if you want to fight evil, if you want to confuse evil...
