The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of "truth" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior (Eph. 2:8-9) (Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:9-10 & 13) (John 3:16), we have the Holy Spirit living in us. He is the Spirit of truth.  One part of this means that... we can know what "truth" is.  There is only ONE truth -- God's truth.  Outside of knowing God... we cannot know truth!  And in order to know God, we must know Jesus. The "mystery" of Christ is .... The Church!   <><><><><><><><><><><><><> Ephesians 3:2-10 CHURCH = born again believers in Jesus Christ                     It is the active plan of God for unifying Jesus-believing Jews and Jesus-believing Gentiles into "one body" = the Church of Jesus Christ. As Believers, can we live in sin and live in fellowship with Christ?   It can't be done.  "Living" in sin is not living in fellowship with Christ. When one is living in sin, he/she is out of fellowship with the Lord.  He can't look upon sin.  Yes, as Believers, we are forgiven of our sins when we accept Jesus as our Savior, and God sees our sins no more; but I'm not talking about that.  I'm talking about walking in fellowship with Him. << Diminished Relationship >> God is a perfect and holy God, and cannot look upon sin.  So, as Believers, when we sin, it causes us to diminish our relationship with Him.  That is why we need to always ask for forgiveness.... to keep the relationship and communication with God open.  No one is sinless on this earth.  We are not perfect.  We do sin.  That is why we need to ask forgiveness of all that we do in opposition to living how God intends for us to live.   1 Thessalonians 5:16... " Rejoice always,"   JOY!  I love this!    What God is telling us is that as His children we can have a continuous joy.  This is independent of any circumstance we're going through.   People are naturally happy given certain circumstances.  But, what God's message is telling us as Believers is that we have an internal eternal joy that is constant.... even through the rain and storms of life! Why?  And, where does this joy come from?   We have this JOY because of what Christ has done for us!  Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins; and when we accept His free gift of eternal salvation, then it gives us a joy indescribable!  No matter what we're going through, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christ is right there, going through our valleys with us!  What comfort!  What joy to know we're not alone --- EVER! We vote politicians into office to be our representatives, governors, and president, in "hopes" of taking the best care of our lives.  So, why not vote Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and know  that He WILL take the best care of your life? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Look, the way I see it, most people have never seen or met their government representatives in person.  We are just trusting someone whose name is on the ballot.  We trust what they tell us in their campaign speeches.  We trust a person whom we've never spoken with.  But yet, we give him/her full range of authority over our lives.  How's that working for everyone? So the same is with Jesus.  Outside of when Jesus lived, we've never met Him in person.  We've never seen Him.  We've never talked with Him.  So, why not take a chance with Jesus and trust Him, just as we trust our politicians whom we've never met?  He's dead, you say?  Well...

(John 11:25-26)... "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.  Do you believe this?'" Yes, Lord, Yes!  I believe!  My daddy lived and believed in You, so You're telling me he's ALIVE! If you believe in the supernatural, then you can believe with me that daddy is still alive.  If you believe in the Bible being a history book of eye witness accounts, then you can believe with me that Jesus arose from the grave.  If He arose from the grave, and you believe in the supernatural, you can believe that Jesus is alive; just like daddy!  AMEN & AMEN! O, death, where is thy sting?  The grave cannot hold those who die in Christ for they shall live! Live and Believe in Jesus Christ, and live FOREVER!

God is God.  God is Father.  And, Jesus is Jesus.  Jesus is Son. God does not get us to heaven.  Only through His Son, Jesus Christ, can we get to heaven. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."  (Acts 4:12) "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.'"   (John 14:6) ********************************************************************************* In the passage found in ACTS 10, we find a Roman centurion named Cornelius who was "devout and God-fearing; giving generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly".
